Tube Piezoelectric Ceramic:

Mainly used for assembling large ultrasonic transducer array or adhesive in various kind of curved beam to measure the impact

and vibration. It also can be used to assemble various kind of vibration pickup and acoustic pick up. Sometimes, the cross section

with a certain angle trapezoid used to assemble high - power and lower frequency of mosaic pipe which is used in active sonar

equipment.


Application: used for  the ocean project, sonar, hydrophone, underwater comunications device, Ultrasonic animal repelent, Ultrasonic insect repelent, ultrasonic pest control piezo transducer,displacement of mirror for laser optics by several micrometers and others.

3.PZT Material

PZT materials are categorized as functional ceramics. In sensors they make it possible toconvert forces,
pressures and accelerations into electrical signals, and in sonic and ultrasonic transducers
and actuators they convert electric voltages into vibrations or deformations. Piezoelectric materials
are classified according to their chemical composition on the one hand, and by the specific
application conditions on the other.


PZT ceramic is used in a wide variety of applications. Soft (sensor) PZT ceramic powders are typically used
when high coupling and/or high charge sensitivity are important, such as in flow or level sensors;
ultrasonic nondestructive testing/evaluation (NDT/NDE) applications; or for accurate inspections of automotive,
structural or aerospace products. Material characteristics include a high dielectric constant; high coupling;
high charge sensitivity; high density with a fine grain structure; a high Curie point; and a clean, noise - free
frequency response.


Hard (high power) PZT ceramic powders are used when high power characteristics are required,
including applications such as the generation of ultrasonic or high - voltage energy in ultrasonic cleaners,
sonar devices, etc. Important powder characteristics include a high piezoelectric charge constant (d33); a
higher mechanical quality factor that reduces mechanical loss and enables a lower operating temperature; a
low dissipation factor that ensures cooler, more economical operation; high dielectric stability; and low
mechanical loss under demanding conditions.
